Its almost time for Idlewild Worship Night, and yes, we have umbrella bags. So throw on your rain boots, and join us here. But if you absolutely can't be in the house, watch online at or on Facebook.
A few more scenes from the the gorgeous Sunrise service this morning. From our family to yours, we hope you have had a blessed Easter!
What a beautiful Sunrise service this morning to kick off Easter Sunday services! With two more at 9 and 11 we hope to see you here!
The angel said about Jesus, “he has risen, just as he said.” He overcame death, and every promise was guaranteed. He is the way, the truth and the life. We are joint heirs with Christ. He stepped out of the grave, and so did we. He stepped into life, and so did we. His Word demonstrates how we are established in Christ by the resurrection. He is worthy of all praise. “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15:20-22) “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation….” (Colossians 1:13-22)
