Idlewild Recreation Calendar 2012

 Youth Fishing, Faith, and Fun - open to children ages 7-15yrs

  • Registration for this event is open! Click HERE to register for this event. 
  • Registration begins online November 1, 2011
  • Event dates are January 14 through February 18, every Saturday morning.

  • This event takes place at the Idlewild Baptist Church property 

  Youth Golf Academy - open to children ages 8-15yrs

  • Registration for this event is open! Click HERE to register for this event.
  • Registration begins online November 1, 2011.
  • Event dates are January 7 through February 18, every Saturday morning except February . Specific dates coming soon.
  • This event takes place at Lutz Executive Golf Center off of Newberger Rd. 

Youth Baseball & Softball - open to children ages 4yrs through High School. 

  • Girls t-ball & Sofball and Boys t-ball & baseball.
  • NOTE: As of January 2012 we will again be offering 7th-8th Grade and High School DIVISIONS for Baseball and Softball!!!
  • Regsitration is OPEN for this event. Click HERE to pay online and download the registration form . 
  • Season runs March 12 - May 12. Click on the Youth Baseball & Softball link above or below for more info an specific dates and times. 
  • Awards Night is May 6th at 6:30pm at Idlewild Baptist Church, main campus.

Youth Flag & Tackle Football  - open to children ages 5yrs through High School (this is a change from the Recreation letter posted above, and is correct as of 4/25/11)

  • Girls Flag Football availiable for all ages! Boys Flag and Tackle for all ages.
  • Regsitration opens end of May 2012. 
  • Season runs end of  July through September 2012. CLICK ON THE Youth Flag & Tackle Football LINK BELOW FOR SPECIFIC DATES/TIMES.
  • Registraiton and registration forms will be available online AFTER the first week in May.

Youth Target Tennis Camp - open to children ages 7yrs through 14yrs. 

  • Dates are June 2012, week long camp every morning from 8:30am-10:30am. 
  • Regsitration opens online in April 2012 . Regsitration limited to the first 50 participants!
  • Held at - North Lakes Recreation Center located at 2640 North Lakeview Dr Tampa, 33618.
  • Cost is $25 per child, plus a can of tennis balls. 
  • Individual and group instruction for all children.

Youth Soccer - open to children ages 4yrs old through 6th grade.

  • Registration begins August 1, 2011. Click HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE REGISTRATION FORM .
  • Each child needs a paper registration form to be returned to our offices in order to be placed on a team!
  • Season runs September 26 through November 19, 2011. CLICK ON THE Youth Soccer LINK BELOW FOR SPECIFIC DATES/TIMES.
  • Registration forms will be available online AFTER AUG 1, 2011
