NOTE: Please be sure to fill out the form carefully
Your child must be the minimum or maximum age when the season begins. We divide participants by grade level. Please list the grade your child will be in during that particular season. Kindergarten is for those in kindergarten and ages 4 and 5 but not enrolled in school yet. First and second grades will play together, third and fouth, fifth and sixth, and seventh and eighth as well. Nineth through twelveth grades will play in one "High School" division.

We will make every attempt to have siblings practice on the same night. Please be sure to complete the Sibling Participant section of your form. In some instances, a particular grade division may not have a practice on your selected night of practice. You will be notified as to whether you prefer the two nights or if you prefer to move the other children to the available night.
We can only guarantee night of practice. We will make every attempt to honor carpools. Registrations must have the same night(s) of practice selected. If you wish them to be on the same team, registrations must be submitted STAPLED together. Please, make certain that the same night of practice -- first choice and second choice -- has been selected on the registration form. HINT: paper clips do not work as they easily come off registrations form. Please be sure to check with friends, family and neighbors before submitting your forms. We are unable to take any verbal, written or late requests.
YES!!!! It is very important that each child have their own registration form and that it is filled out completely. You may want to fill out the basic information and then photocopy it before completing the individual information. These forms are given to the coaches to properly contact you and your child. We can only assist you as well as the information provided. Addresses and phone numbers are used for future recreation mailings and phone messages. Please be sure your form is legible.
The online feature is for payment only. You have not actually registered your child, simply paid the fee. A paper registration form with an orginial signature must be recieved by the church office.
YES!!!! The more the merrier. You do not need to be a member of our church. In fact, we encourage our members to invite their friends and neighbors.
It is very important that you make every attempt to attend our sizing day. The uniform is the most costly part of our program. To keep cost down, we try to just buy the items we need. Our sizing usually runs YS, YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL. Vendor sizes may vary silghtly. If you do not attend a sizing day, we will "guess" at the size of your child based on the other children on your child's team. If an item does not fit, you will need to pay for a replacement item.
No. Unfortunately we cannot accept registrations that are faxed or emailed to us. Due to the nature of the activity, we must have a registration form with an original signature. We are currently unable to make any changes to your registration once it has been submitted. Please make every effort to make sure all information is correct before submitting. Thank you for your understanding.
It takes about one week after the final registration day to finalize teams. An alphabetical listing is posted on the Internet the Wednesday night before practices begin the following week. You may go to www.idlewild.org/ibcrec and find the link to Rosters there. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find out what team your child is on and what night they will practice. You will not be contacted by someone in Recreation or your coach.
We have an INFO LINE at 813/264-8759 press 1, or our website keyword: Rain Out will advise you if play is still scheduled or if it has been cancelled. In addition, we will contact the coaches and they inturn will call their players.
You must be a member of Idlewild Baptist Church for a minimum of six months and active in a Bible Fellowship class. In addition, you name will be submitted to our Pastoral staff for approval as well as a background check must be completed. Please contact the Recreation Office at 264-8759 as soon as possible to sign up.
Schedules are posted on the internet. Go to the keyword: Schedule and you will see Week 1-8. Click on the corresponding week for the schedule. Please note, from time to time, schedules may change due to circumstances beyond our control. We ask that you check weekly for any changes that may arise. Thank you for your understanding.
Any request for refunds must be submitted in writing. Any rental equipment must be returned. Upon reciept of written notification and return of equipment a refund will be issued, prorated based on the week the request is received. This rate may range from $5.00 to $11.00 per week based on the sport.
