Becoming An IBC Member
At the end of each worship service a song is sung and the pastors stand at the heads of the aisles facing the congregation. This is known as the "invitation." Simply step into the aisle and walk up to one of the pastors at that time. Tell the pastor you want to join the church and he will direct you from there.

Membership Requirements
It’s as simple as A-B-C...
A- Accept Christ as your personal Savior.
B- Baptized by immersion after salvation.
C- Complete Discovering Membership 101.
Come forward during the invitation to apply for church membership.

Question: What do I do after I have completed the Membership 101 class?
Answer:
- Attend the weekly worship services (Sundays & Wednesdays).
- Find and join a Bible Fellowship class (Sunday mornings).
- Register for a LifeChange University course (no prerequisites required!)
- If you have not already done so, apply for church membership by walking down the aisle after any service during the invitation time.
Question: Does completing Membership 101 automatically make me an Idlewild church member?
Answer:
No. Completion of 101 is one of the "A-B-C’s". Remember, you must have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, been baptized by immersion after you were saved, and also completed the 101 class. After you have done all three of these and formally applied for membership (by walking forward during the invitation time at the close of any worship service), you will be considered a member.
