MISSION TRIPS FOR 2010

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

September 25-October 2, 2010 

Purpose: To partner with IMB Missionaries Steve & Marilee Flook in planting a church in the city of Santo Domingo.  We will use varied forms of ministry: VBS, Sports Evangelism, Community Outreach, Bible Study and others to reach the people in this large city.

Cost: $600.00 (with scholarship).  This includes: food, housing, transportation and VISA.  Does not include: passport, immunizations, food in route or spending money.

Thessaloniki, Greece

October 8 - 16, 2010

Purpose: Working with local IMB Missionary to plant a local church.  Ministering through VBS, Gypsy Camp Ministry, Refugee Camp, Prayer Walking & local outreach project.

Cost: $1,100.00 with scholarship.  This includes air & ground transportation, housing, visa and food

Mali, West Africa

October 14-23, 2010

Purpose: Continue with IBC efforts to initiate a church planting movement in Idlewild's adopted village.  Use Chronological Bible Storying to disciple, train and evangelize.  Work along side the villagers to develop strong personal relationships. 

Cost: $1,300.00 (with scholarship).  Price includes food, transportation and housing.  Does NOT include: passport, immunizations, food in route or spending money.

Purpose: Work with a local Baptist church, construction, ladies conference & VBS and evangelistic crusade in the evenings.

Cost: $700.00 (with 50% scholarship)

November 3 - 13, 2010

Purpose: Assisting IMB missionaries Mark & Cathy Kissee in their church planing work.  Along with medical clinics, community transformation training and Chronological Bible Storying.

Cost: $1,875.00 (with scholarship).  This includes food, transportation, housing and visas.

Purpose: Establish a church planting movement at Idlewild's adopted village.  Use Chronological Bible Storying to evangelize, disciple and train leaders.  Work alongside the villagers to develop strong personal relationships.  This is a strenuous trip requiring alot of walking.  The climate is hot and the conditions primitive, therefore you must be in good physical condition.

Nepal

February 4-12

Purpose: Assisting IMB missionaries with church planting by offering a medical/dental clinic to the Loba people group and Tibetan refugees.

Cost: $1,600.00 with scholarship.  Price Includes: food, transportation, housing and visa

Amazon River

Purpose: Continue the work with the village people of the Amazon River Basin and the First Baptist of Parentinis through: evangelism, VBS and medical outreach.

Cost: $1,600.00 with scholarship.  Deduct $75.00 if you already have a visa.

Price includes: travel insurance, visa, food, transportation and housing. Price does not include vaccinations

Costa Rica

Purpose: Evangelism, church support and community outreach.  This outreach will be a combination of but not limited to: VBS, Bible distribution, door to door evangelism, men's and ladies Bible study, sports evangelism and a local community project.

Cost: $850.00 with scholarship.  Price includes: food, transportation and lodging

Haiti

April 2-9

September 24-October 1

Purpose: Assisting with church planting in the remote central area of Haiti around the city of Hinche.  The team will be involved in evangelism, discipleship training, food distribution and medical/dental clinics.

Cuba

Purpose: Work with a local Baptist church, construction, ladies and men's conference, VBS in the evenings, Evangelistic Crusade in the evening.

Purpose: Working with a local IMB missionary to plant a local church.  Ministering through evangelism, prayer walking and local outreach projects.
