FAQS

  • Is this overnight? YES, and we won’t be leaving the main IBC campus.
  • I still have another question… Email Valerie at Vraberge@idlewild.org
  • Are we playing laser tag? You bet cha!
  • Help! I can never find anything in my refrigerator! Do you have any tips? Umm… this seems like a strange place for that question, but okay. Try putting a lazy Susan in the fridge. It’ll allow you to easily find and access the items in the back and will therefore help to reduce waste.
  • Will we go to sleep? We better! We’re aiming for 11:00pm lights out.
  • How do I know what to bring? We’ll email out a packing list the week prior. No suntan lotion needed.
  • Are there adult counselors? Interested? If you are a member, then we run a background check after Pastor Patrick or Ms. Debbie does an interview and you get approved. Space is limited. Register online.
  • How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? In 1988, a New York fish and wildlife technician named Richard Thomas calculated that on a good day, with the wind at his back, a woodchuck could chuck about 700 lbs of wood (that is…if a woodchuck could chuck wood, which it can’t—so it’s irrelevant).
  • Does that previous question really get asked frequently? It depends. If by “frequently”, you mean “never”, then yes – it’s one of the most frequently asked questions.
  • This is a DEEP DISCIPLESHIP weekend as well as fun. We’ll be looking at staying ‘in sync’ with God moment by moment of every day.
