Time: 1pm-4pm

The  Back to School event is designed to support neighboring families, youth, and schools prior to the 22-23 school year. This is a celebration designed to get our children and youth excited to start the upcoming school year!

Parents and community partners who work directly with children/youth will have the opportunity to connect. Local barbers will offer free haircuts for children/students K-12, and  local area children in need will pick out a new backpack.

Partnering area schools will be given classroom supplies to provide to their teachers:

SUPPLIES NEEDED

  • Elmers Glue Sticks
  • 24 count crayon boxes
  • Wide-ruled Composition Notebooks
  • Single subject spiral notebooks
  • Yellow Highlighters
  • Notebook Filler Paper (wide ruled)
  • 12 count colored pencils

Note: #2 Pencils have already been donated.

Bring donations to Idlewild at the Springs: Thursdays 430pm – 7pm & Sundays 9am – 1230pm from NOW to Aug Sunday Aug 7th

This event will allow our church the opportunity to provide outreach to the Sulphur Springs Community and we are looking for VOLUNTEERS in the following areas:

Set-Up Crew: (8 volunteers needed)

Setup Crew members must arrive by 11:00am

Evangelism (20 volunteers needed)

1 Hour Shift Opportunities

Bounce House Crew : (9 volunteers needed) – 3 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Popcorn Crew: (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Snow Cone Crew: (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Video Game Truck: (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Barbering Crew: (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Yard Games: (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Food Service Crew: 

Grill Masters (3 volunteers needed) – 1 volunteer per 1-hour shift

Support Crew (6 volunteers needed) – 2 volunteers per 1-hour shift

Shift Times

Shift 1: 1pm-2pm

Shift 2: 2pm-3pm

Shift 3: 3pm-4pm

Note: All volunteers who register for a 1st shift and evangelism we ask that you arrive by 12:30.
