Ministry Purpose of this Position: The Manager of Recreation Outreach supports the Lead Director of Recreation Outreach in reaching the community for Christ through athletics and connecting the participants to the church. This position is critical in the making of disciples utilizing youth and adult sports as the conduit for building relationships.
Summary of the Ministry Position: The Manager of Recreation Outreach is charged with developing an overarching strategy and practical tactics to ensure our ministry is fully focused on the making of disciples. This strategic leadership will focus on developing appropriate roles for coaches and other leaders, develop and deliver training for these leaders, provide modeling and coaching of our leaders and support the overarching spiritual tone of the Recreation Ministry. The writing and development of effective and engaging devotionals to be utilized in the ministry is critical to our success. The Recreation Manager also oversees the administration of all leagues, youth and adult, including but not limited to, creating teams, schedules, identifying coaches and referees, managing the budget, supervising staff and volunteers, etc. Also supports the Lead Director of Recreation Outreach in overall supervision of the recreation ministry and overseeing the vision and future development of the recreation ministry.

Summary of the Ministry Position: Baristas are responsible for making quality beverages, specialty hot and cold drinks, preparing food orders, working the cash register, and cleaning and stocking. Baristas must do all of these tasks quickly and efficiently while also making sure to form good customer relationships.
Key Ministry Areas of Responsibility: Prepare, serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards and exact recipes. Properly handle and maintain all equipment. Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner. Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures and end of day reports. Serve customers quickly and efficiently. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings. Observe relevant health and safety standards. Share Christ’s love and care through words and deeds.
