WEEKEND DETAILS
DATE: February 24-25, 2023
WHERE: Idlewild Baptist Church | Student Building (We will be staying on campus)
COST: $50 (includes 4 meals, a t-shirt, transportation, late night off-campus activity, and late night on-campus activity)
DROP-OFF: Friday, February 24 | 6PM
PICK-UP: Saturday, February 25| 10:00PM
PURPOSE: To take a biblical look at manhood, sexuality, leadership, and responsibility in the midst of a culture that promotes the opposite. We hope to challenge our guys to live into the calling that God has given to each of them.

FRIDAY
6:00PM – Drop-off + Registration / Dinner
7:15PM – Session 1
8:30PM – Depart for Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park in Land o Lakes
11:00PM – Return to Idlewild
1:00AM – Lights Out
SATURDAY
8:00AM – Wake-up
8:15AM – Devo
8:30AM – Breakfast
9:15AM – Session 2
10:30AM – MS Tournaments / HS Activities
12:30PM – Lunch
1:30PM – HS Tournament / MS Activities
3:30PM – Freetime / Long Putt Competition / Free Throw Competition
5:00PM – Dinner
6:00PM – Session 3
7:30PM – Lazer Tag
10:00PM – Pick-up
WHAT TO BRING:
1. Change of clothes for Saturday. Some activities will take place outside. Please bring NO MORE than one bag.
2. Bedding for sleeping = sleeping bag, pillow, blanket.
3. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, DEODORANT, etc). There will be no access to showers, but all bathrooms will be available.
4. Bible, Notebook, pen and/or highlighter.
5. Our Off-Campus Activity is at Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park. Food will be provided throughout the weekend, however if students wish to purchase additional food or snacks at Flying Squirrel, spending money is the responsibility of the student.
RULES FOR GUYS WEEKEND:
1. Respect all Pastors and Leaders. For your safety do what they ask you to do the first time.
2. Respect the church property. As a man, it is our responsibility to be good stewards of the resources we’ve been entrusted and to use wisdom and good judgement.
3. Please BE ON TIME for all activities on the schedule. Leaders will communicate any changes in schedule or times.
4. ALL main sessions and Breakouts are mandatory for all students. There is scheduled free time and optional activities. Leaders will make you aware of these options.
5. No pranks! Pranks might be fun but they can be a huge distraction. NO water guns, toilet paper, shaving cream, etc.
6. No weapons, drugs, or alcohol of any kind; this includes guns, knives, lighters, lightsabers, throwing stars, really sharp paper (it cuts, y’all!!?), weed, CBD products, cigarettes, cigars, vaping products, etc. Here’s a good rule of thumb … if you don’t think you should, you shouldn’t.
7. All medications should be discussed with Student Staff upon arrival. If you have any questions, our staff will be available at Registration.
8. Cell phones are permitted at Guys Weekend, HOWEVER – THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Idlewild Student assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen property. Cell Phones are not allowed in Sessions or Breakouts.
