God’s Grace In The Workplace

“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more. Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. Acts 20:24-27) NKJV

These are Paul’s last words to the elders at Ephesus. He is leaving them, but he reminds them that he has lived a life filled with Gods grace and he has demonstrated the gospel in his work. So how do we demonstrate Grace The Workplace? 3 Ways: By The

Quality Of Your Work

God has made each of us a representation of Jesus Christ in our work. It’s not optional. It’s non-negotiable. If you are a Christian, you’re a missionary. You may be doing any of a myriad of things you think are mundane. But hear me well; as a believer, your work is to be the temple of your devotion and the platform of your witness. Every Christian is a minister doing full time Christian service. Whatever your work you’re doing it because the Lord gave it to you. “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Cor. 10: 31 NKJV

Vitality Of Your Words

One of the ways you stand out is being positive in a negative world. If you go the extra mile, people will notice. In the world today we need to be audio/ video Christians: those who will show and tell. I have heard it too many times, “ I witness with my life.” What you and I should know is, people aren’t saved by your life, they are saved by His death. Verse 24 says, “ testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” You have to use words if you are going to testify.

Reliability Of Your Witness

Lastly, you can show grace in the workplace by the reliability of your witness. Everyone loves good news. If you had the cure for cancer, would you keep it to yourself? You wouldn’t. Our witness for Jesus Christ is on the line everyday. This day you have an opportunity to show grace in the workplace. And you’ll do it by your work, with your words, and in your witness. Do a great job. Speak the gospel with your words. And make sure your witness for Jesus Christ is very reliable. Show grace today in the place where you work. Everyone loves grace. And it’s a character that can be seen. Make much of Jesus. He put you there as His ambassador. Be a great representative today.
