In The Know: Fall 2022 Bible Studies

Women’s Fall 2022 Bible Study Classes

Disciples of Christ are life-long learners who actively dig into Gods Word in order to know Him better and to better represent Him. Our Bible study classes aim to welcome you into a community where we are growing together and challenging one another to live out what we are learning as His disciples. Each of our classes include lessons for personal study, vibrant small group discussion and a time of teaching.

All classes begin the week of September 12 but vary in length. Free childcare is offered both Monday night and Tuesday mornings but advanced registration is required.

Monday Evening Classes:

  • Amazing Collection, 9/12-11/21, 6:30-8:30 p.m., led by Lyn Casseday, Room E104
    • Grow in your understanding of how each book of the Bible is part of a bigger story that God is revealing in His word. The Amazing Collection curriculum is designed to take you through the whole Bible in three years but can be jumped into at any time. This semester will cover 1 Chronicles through Song of Solomon.

  • Empowered: The Study of Acts, 9/12-11/14, 6:30-8:00 p.m., led by Jodie Montgomery & Allison McCoy, Hall 2 & via Zoom

Journey with us as we discover what it means to be a part of Gods story of the Church, empowered by the Spirit to be His disciples in this world at this time. Workbook by Big Dream Ministries.

  • Zechariah, 9/12-11/14, 6:30-8:30 p.m., led by Donna Fischbach, Room, E102
    • A prophetic book that foresees the first and second advents of Christ, Zechariah teaches how God prepares His people to face and live in a time where repentance of sin and a building of their faith is necessary to complete the construction of the post-exilic Temple. The prophet Zechariah encourages the people to understand and believe that God will be with them through the problems they are facing. This study will use precept methods to interpret and understand eight-night visions, symbolisms and characters in this book. Included in the study will be the DVD of Ray Vander Laans book, The Promised Land
