Dr. Dana Johnson, PhD, MS, OTR/L is the owner of Interplay Therapy Center and Founder of Invictus Academy Tampa Bay, a non-profit private school for students with sensory motor differences. Dr. Johnson has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a PhD in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Development and has worked with individuals with motor and sensory differences for over 15 years. Her private practice opened in 2010 and has grown to serve children, adolescents, and adults with motor and sensory differences, including autism, apraxia, sensory integration disorders, and communication differences.

Deana Troyer is Director of Special Needs Ministries at Idlewild Baptist Church. Her world was rocked as she watched several of her students learn this method and become free to communicate not only how much they know but also their hopes and dreams. Her passion is to bring this freedom of communication to as many families as possible in the Tampa Bay area and to empower parents to truly know the depth of their child’s heart and mind. She has pursued education as a Spelling to Communicate practitioner and currently works with Idlewild families in this endeavor.
