What does a season at IBC Rec look like?
Youth soccer at IBC Rec is simple and fun! Once registered, participants are looked through on a first come first serve basis. Once placed on a team, the participants will have a 1-hour practice on their assigned weeknight (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday). The season will have 2 weeks of practice before the first game on Saturday morning. The season will last 9 weeks total playing 8 games. The season will end with a closing celebration filled with fun and bounce houses.
In summary: A 1-hour practice a week (9 practices) and a 1-hour game on Saturday mornings (8 games).
What equipment does my child need to play?
Shin guards must be worn and covered with long socks during the entire duration of the games. We do not require the use of cleats but they are recommended.
