Wade Griffin
Minister, Families

  1. It is hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner! 2020 will be here before we know it. As we have planned for the future, the church staff has been working very hard to move us as a church toward engaging with our unsaved and unchurched neighbors, co-workers, friends and family. This all begins with prayer. Prayer that God would revive our own hearts and use us in the lives of those in whom He is working.
    2. The Vision planning is complete, however, there is much work to be done to bring these plans to reality. If God does not direct and the Holy Spirit does not empower and if we don’t go with the love of Jesus in our hearts, the work will be in vain. Daily intimacy with God and falling more deeply in love with Him is our ultimate calling. It is from that overflow that we move forward.
    3. Lastly, thank you all for praying for the Young Married Retreat in September. God definitely moved in an incredible way. I believe we will see the return from that investment over many years in the future.

The Cuba Entrust trip Kim and I are going on has been moved back to November. This was driven by the Cuban government. At this point, our religious visas have yet to be approved. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for this trip!
It seems that our enemy is aggressively attacking young families at this time. Please pray for God’s protection and that these couples will keep their hearts and minds set on Christ.
Thank you for your prayers for our neighbors. We have had several unique opportunities to demonstrate care and support to several neighbors. We definitely see God at work!
