Please ask the Lord to fill us with the knowledge of his will through all wisdom and understanding

I want to thank you for your continued prayers on behalf of my family; Please pray for my wife, Miska; my son, Ethan, who continues to interview in the field of Environmental Sciences, pray that he not get discouraged. He has literally applied around the world without many encouraging responses; for my daughter, Marét, and her husband, Zach; and my son, Nathan. Please pray that as a family, we all make wise choices and decisions.

Please be praying diligently for revival for our church. Psalm 85:6 – ‘Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?’

Please pray for wisdom for me as I seek to prompt a multicultural, multi-generational body of believers to worship the Lord Jesus Christ in unity, spirit and truth.

Steve Kirby
Minister, Instrumental Music

His family – Bonnie, Daniel (Aden and Jackson), Joel (Veronica, Ryleigh and Raegan) and Erin (Matt).

Pray for Daniel. He has “temporary” permanent custody of the boys through the end of the school year. Pray as he works to have permanent custody of the boys. The boys have not been in a stable environment. Pray for wisdom, sound minds and God’s grace on their lives.

Pray for Joel and Veronica as they lean on Him and make Him a priority in all things. Joel had several interviews at the end of 2019 but God closed those doors. He has a good job but feels that there is something else out there for him. Pray that Joel and Veronica will continue to be the parents to Ryleigh and Raegan that God has called them to be.

Pray for Erin and Matt. Matt is very far from the Lord. But, God continues to show Himself faithful. Pray with us that Matt comes to Christ soon. He and Erin will stay in the Tampa area for a few more years, which will allow us more time with Matt to show Christ to him. Pray for Erin as she still deals with headaches, migraines and a severe wheat allergy, although her health has been better over the past few months. Continue to pray for God’s perfect will to be manifested in her life now and the future. Thank you for lifting my children (and grandchildren) up in prayer! Pray for wisdom and direction.

The Worship Orchestra as we are always looking for additional instrumentalists to join with us. We are always in need of string players (violin, viola, cello), but all other instruments are welcome. We are prepared for the Christmas presentations as best as we can be. We always rely on the Lord to play through us. We have adopted John 15:5 as our scripture verse. Pray as the orchestra adjusts to a new space for us (as well as the choir), even though we’re not sure (yet) if we’ll stay this way or go back to our previous look. There are challenges, but God is greater! Pray for us as we work through them. Our desire is to lead worship, prompting the congregation to join us as we serve the Lord together.

The Student Worship Community, including the WILD Orchestra, as we pray for godly leadership with a thirst for God’s Word. We are always looking for additional instrumentalists. We are especially in need of string and woodwind players (particularly violin, flute and clarinet), but all other instruments are welcome (and needed). Pray that we can capture young musicians to train and to become better worshippers and better worship leaders. We are back and getting ready for Sunday services where we join the adult orchestra for Sunday services once a month over the next few months.

The Centre for Music, Worship and the Arts as finish the winter term at the end of the month. We are always in need of qualified instructors, specifically vocal (male and female), piano and guitar. Pray that we can continue to meet the needs according to the Lord’s plan for us.

David Zunz
Minister, Student Worship

For my wife Janell as she stays home with our two children.

For our 4 year-old daughter Adele and our 2 year-old son Ezra, for health and safety

For the salvation of our children, that they would accept Christ at an early age

For the future husband of our daughter and future wife of our son, that they would be pure, Christ-like spouses for our children.

For God to give me wisdom in several areas of discipline: Spiritual, personal health, work, finances and family

For preparation of 2020 ministry and events in Student Worship

For God to bring clarity and vision in the new year for my ministry and team

Brandon Arnold
Ministry Associate, Music & Worship

Discipline, growth, and passion in my personal walk with Jesus

Opportunities to meet my new neighbors, and begin Gospel directed relationships with them

Personal health and fitness

Wisdom for my family as they are wrestling over some pretty serious decisions concerning one of my grandmas, who is in very bad health, and cannot take care of herself

Praying for a godly wife

Praying for our church to dive deeply into the waters of change… to break free from our comfort zones, and to really grow in intimacy and depth in our interaction with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Balance of all the many services, events, and responsibilities I have, and still just learning everything as “the new guy”

Personal development of ministry skills and knowledge

Wisdom and discernment as I plan for services, that it wouldn’t just be “picking songs”, but that the Lord would direct the entire service and selections towards sharing one heartbeat, drawing us to His Word, and actionable response in our lives for His glory

That I will SEE people in the midst of busyness, and not miss those divine moments of encouraging, exhorting, or comforting others “in the moment”

Pray for fruit from the funeral that took place this past week… It was very sobering to see so many “celebrities” and being reminded so clearly that they are just real people like us, with real hurts like us, and in real need of a Savior (like us). Very sad to see them grasping for hope and peace in shallow things, and seeing them walk away still confused and empty. Pray that seeds were planted or watered, and that they will join Jesus.
