Idlewild’s support groups help cultivate a Culture of Care by walking alongside people spiritually, emotionally, and personally. These support groups are offered in seminar, small group, and individual interactions where leaders are equipped to assist in a number of specific and significant areas.

Caregiver Assistance Resources Encouragement
The iCARE Ministry is a faith outreach to caregivers of individuals with dementia. These caregivers have many questions, new skills to develop, and heavy demands on their time and resources. Caregivers can become very isolated. Our goal is to provide support in order to relieve the isolation and help the caregivers identify and access needed resources. Our monthly support group meeting is an opportunity for caregivers to meet together, and they are encouraged to bring their "Cared For", who meet separately with ministry volunteers for fellowship and activities geared for them.

L.I.F.E. Sisters in Recovery is an 18-month study for spouses of men who have been unfaithful in their marriage or are battling sexual impurity/addiction. This workbook-style study is a biblically-based, time-tested, effective tool in assisting spouses in recovering from their partner’s sexual betrayal, whether the spouse is repentant or not. Introducing a new way of looking at the participants’ own recovery and transformation, God uses what the enemy meant for destruction to bring new life and hope. Through participation in this group, one enters a safe support structure with other women on the same journey. Women only. Interested women should call or text Cathy Stone at 813-774-1531 prior to attendance for more information.
